Inside Sales Lead Generation Associate

Designed for those who are spending at least $100,000 monthly on paid search, Marin Search Marketer® addresses the workflow, analysis, and optimization needs for large-scale SEM campaigns, saving time and improving financial performance. Over 180 customers collectively manage in excess of $1 billion of annual search spend via Marin's application. Customers include University of Phoenix, Neo@Ogilvy, Razorfish, Reply! and ZipRealty. Marin is backed by Amicus Capital, Benchmark Capital, DAG Ventures and Focus Ventures.
Responsibilities:
• Qualify and allocate leads for sales teams
• Generate interest in Marin Software through 30-50 outbound calls daily
• Identify, initiate and nurture relationships with prospects both over the phone and via e-mail
• Work with a monthly, quarterly and yearly quota
• Develop and sustain knowledge of Marin Software’s offerings and associated technologies
• Provide feedback to improve marketing and sales efforts
• Reports to VP of Sales
• Opportunity for advancement based on performance
Qualifications:
• BA/BS degree
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• 1-2 years inside sales experience selling software or software-as-a-service
• Attention to detail in working with internal systems (CRM, SFA, etc.).
• Ability to quickly learn and apply new information in customer-facing scenarios
• Confidence to overcome objections and convert interest into qualified leads
• Must be independent, self-motivated and success-driven, yet willing to work within a team environment
• Lead generation, cold calling, objection handling and closing experience desired
Compensation:
• Full-time salaried position with significant incentive performance component -- compensation dependent on prior experience

This is an onsite position at Marin Software’s headquarters in San Francisco’s financial district (2 blocks from BART). Contract-to-hire applicants are OK.
